Speed of KOP Chassis

Hello,

I'm trying to get a general idea for the length of a scoring cycle, and wanted to use the speed of a standard KOP chassis as reference. I was wondering if anyone knew how fast it is?

Thanks

This'll depend on how many assists teams go for and whether they toss the ball over the Truss or not.

Truthfully, I expect (once defense is calculated in) 30-45 second cycle times during seeding rounds and ~30 second cycles during the finals.

I figured I could factor that in as additional time based on about how long it takes for a standard KOP chassis to go across the field.

Re: Speed of KOP Chassis

The speed of the KOP depends on the number of motors, the gearing and how well the driver controls the robot. Figure 8-12 ft/second on a single speed gearbox
