.net framework help!

I cant install the .net framework which is required to install the 2014 NI update, I get the error code HRESULT 0xc8000222.

First, make sure you have installed any available Windows Updates.

Sometimes the Windows Update cache gets corrupted.

HRESULT 0xc8000222 seems to be a common result of not having administrator privileges when trying to install the .net framework. Try again after logging on as an admin user, and/or running the installer with elevated privileges (right-click and choose Run as administrator).
