Yes, there will be another animation competition this year. We just had it confirmed immediately prior to the kick-off that FIRST would not be able to host a formal animation competition again this hear (things were really, really close, but couldn't quite come completely together at the last minute). So Team 116 will be hosting a "community based" animation competition again this year. We have been putting contingency plans in place recently just in case this eventuality came to be. We will be releasing details on the structure and prices for the 2014 USA (Underground Society of Animators) animation competition within the next 48 hours.
