Something to think about...
As always the GDC left ambiguity in this rule.

What if you do not "fully" cross but still hit an opponent robot?

How have they handled this in the past?

Also I wonder about their definition of fully (does that mean past the center line? past the far side? past the close side? bumpers too? or just frame? Or if you have extend the robot by 20", that too?

During AUTO,

a ROBOT starting in the white ZONE may not cross fully beyond the TRUSS
a ROBOT starting in its GOALIE ZONE must remain in contact with the carpet in its GOALIE ZONE.

Violation: FOUL. If contact with an opponent ROBOT, TECHNICAL FOUL.
