Controller Interface With Swerve Drive
Hi guys. I've done some research and found out how to use a PID to get a pot to steer the wheels for swerve drive. Now that I have that, I need to know this: How do I actually use swerve drive? How do I get the robot to full speed at any direction? Is an Xbox controller suitable or is a 3 axis joystick preferable? Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Controller Interface With Swerve Drive
I think my preferred control scheme for swerve would be two 2-axis joysticks. One would drive forward, back, left, and right, and the other would rotate the robot. You could accomplish the same with a 3-axis joystick, but I think it would be much harder to control.
