Re: 77 new teams?
FIRST in Michigan has been remarkably good at promoting the start of new teams. This year they contacted local teams to ask to help mentor those news teams - we've been in touch with a number of the new teams around us to help.
As always, the real trick is not starting a FIRST team. That part is easy. The hard part is long-time retention. Even well-known teams fail. FIRST is a very difficult endeavor over the long term unless you've been very lucky in terms of sponsorship. |

What data source are you using? I'm seeing about 85 MI rookies using the old search tool here. |

Re: 77 new teams?
That entry still lists 55 rookies.
Rookie team numbers start at 4900. Last edited by Mark McLeod : 09-01-2014 at 14:31. |

The system can only show a max of 250 results per page, so it's getting cut off at team 5216. The highest MI rookie number is 5316. |

Silly me.
I've never had to switch to a second page for a state before ![]() |
