Banners in the Pit Area

This year, our team is debating scratching a banner from the pit area entirely, and replacing it with a scrolling ticker tape that displays our team name and logo, as well as sponsors and anything else we can think of. The FIRST manual has nothing to say on the matter, only a little blurb on displays in the competition area (not allowed). If you'd like to have a look, it's in the Administrative Manual under Banners and Flags. Are we allowed to put the ticker tape up?

MOE has used one for years with no problems (MOE has had other types of displays banned from the pits however...)
