If your imaging tool can't find "FRC_ImagingVersion.ini"

A couple days ago, we went to image our new crio but ran into a problem that other teams may need help on, if they encounter it.

During the image process, the utility threw an error that said it could not locate "FRC_ImagingVersion.ini" in any of the the AppData folders. This was pretty much a universal thing across about 4 different computers, each with all the new software and all the updates. My understanding is that this file tells the computer what image is already on the crio.

The way we solved this is we went to one of the computers that we used last year to image the crio, searched the FRC AppData folder and located the file (it was hiding). After locating the file, we had to copy this file into each of the subfolders in the AppData>frc directory. Only after each subfolder contained this file, did we get through the imaging process successfully.

For teams that encounter this error, this is the annoying, time consuming way to work around it, but we couldn't figure out anything else. Let us know if you encouter the same problem and how you get around it differently!

Happy Building!
