help repairing 2014 game pieces

Has anyone repaired or know the best way to fix a popped ball....we had an oops. Yes we have looked at and seen all the google methods for exercise balls. We just want to know if anyone as actually performed the procedure.

I have seen talk of duct tape working, although we haven't needed to yet. Gaff tape might work even better too.

For a more robust fix you might try a bicycle tire patch. I don't know if it would work any differently because of it being a different material, but I imagine that it would work. I'm interested to hear if you try any solutions that have not been discussed yet.

Pretty easy....1"Aluminum angle catapult arms...ball bounced back off wall and hit the exposed non-filed corner at the end of the arm. Was a prototype so did not make the ends all nicey nice

Our head coach emailed Sportogo, and their response was something along the lines of "There is no adhesive that can repair a ball that is less than 36 inches in diameter."

rubber cement, and then duct tape over that. I've repaired a lot of waterbed and airbed bladders like that and it "usually" works. Give it a couple of hours to set, or more.

I don't know if you have a Costco in your area, but they have the exercise ball there for sale. So as long as your fabric is still good, you could just get a new ball.

Nonsense.

Try Shoe Goo if you can find it. It sticks to everything* and remains flexible.

Try this:

Cut a patch of denim,

Rub Shoe Goo into the patch and on the tear,

Press the patch onto the tear,

Put several layers of newspaper over the patch**,

Put a heavy object on it to hold the pressure, and

Give it 24 full hours to cure.


* I repaired the torn seat of my (heavily used)yard tractor with it. It was split open and the foam as bulging out. That was 2 years ago.

I emailed Sportogo about repairing one of their 40 inch balls, and their response was "There is no adhesive that can repair a ball that is less than 72 inches in diameter."

Well I own swimming pool service company and I would use a pool liner repair kit. I have been successful using them to patch tire tubes. Just be careful because the glue might melt the rubber ball. If you get the patch to stick put duck tape over it put it in the cover and fill with air. Try it what do you have to lose you all ready killed it.

Our ball has a pin prick size hole that is causing a slow leak in it. Someone bought a patch kit and attempted to repair it yesterday, but we haven't tried to re-fill it with air since. We meet again Tuesday and if the repair was successful I can post info on what repair kit was used.

The web page says the bladder is made of PVC. Isn't that what the pool liners are made of?

We found a tiny hole in our ball caused by a splinter that was causing it to deflate rapidly. Patched with regular old duct tape and holding air fine again.
