Community Outreach

Hey beautifuls, We're working on ideas for community outreach today and I've completely run out of ideas. So what have you guys been doing?

Re: Community Outreach

We're always looking for ways to give back with skills from FIRST. In the past, we've created an elephant feeding system for the Oregon Zoo, as well as repairing a robotic fire hydrant named Robbie for our local fire department.

On a slightly bigger scale, last year we applied for (and received) a Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams grant to work on similar projects. We're working on an 'aquatic Roomba' to combat eutrophication and pond scum in a local lake, as well as creating a tablet app to encourage Guatemalan kids to go to school.
