Cannot get image after vision processing
We've been trying to get our vision processing to work. We cannot successfully create a binary image. We have adjusted the HSL values, but no matter what we do the image is black. We've done some testing and have confirmed the problem is not related to the camera.
Your help is appreciated. |

Re: Cannot get image after vision processing
How are you viewing the image? Are you writing a JPG or BMP? Writing a JPG will always result in a black image.
To verify that things are working correctly you can try opening the HSL values up substantially and make sure you see the image as mostly red, then start narrowing down until you get just the target. |

Re: Cannot get image after vision processing
If you are doing this in LabVIEW, you will need to right click on the vision display and set its display palette to binary. Otherwise the values in the binary are 0 and 1, and those are drawn as black and practically black. The binary palette is black and red.
