Team 3334 here. We are using a custom-built computer using a dual-core AMD Athlon II with 4 GB of RAM. In order to power it, we are using a Mini-box picoPSU DC-DC converter.
On the software side, we are using C++ and OpenCV running atop Arch Linux. The capabilities of OpenCV are quite impressive, so read the tutorials! I'm not sure about JavaCV, but a board like the one we built would definitely be fast enough to run Oracle Java 7. |
