I don't see why you couldn't set it up the same way as long, just configure it is wide orientation. Just like any type of wheel.

If you want to use the given holes for mounting the TB nano with 6" mechanum wheels, you cannot follow the wide configuration cut as the wheel and part of the gearbox will be outside the of the frame perimeter (the sheet metal).

On the attached image, I point out the location of the axle locations.
