Re: Control system Zip Tied
The CRio actually has two toggle bolts on it currently and then zip ties on the side. Thanks for your help!

We've used industrial strength Velcro for years....

Re: Control system Zip Tied
We also use a lot of velcro because swapping out components on the fly is a no brainer, this way! Next would be to make docking connectors so you just place the component down and it's wired up!

I'm sure it works, but it seems sort of crude to me. Not refined. Incomplete. Lacking elegance. For all intensive purposes, I'm sure it works and works fine - and swapping is probably nice - but I like my electronics board pretty ![]() |

It is personal preference, but I like bolting down electronics. |

Re: Control system Zip Tied
We have used tywraps exclusively for the cRio and other electronics. Let's face it they are insulated. However, small tywraps are not appropriate and more than one set is required. The cRio should not move when you push it from side to side. If you have empty slots, pass a set of tywraps through the holes of the unused slot to be sure the cRio doesn't move.
