Banebot Wheels 1/2 inch keyed shaft
I've tried to figure it out on the Banebots site and can't. Do Banebots 1/2 shaft keyed wheels require shaft collars to keep them in place with their keys, or are there set screws on the wheels? Thanks for your help!

Need to add retention. No set screws.

Re: Banebot Wheels 1/2 inch keyed shaft
I'm not 100% certain however my team did use banebots wheels last year (we bought them un-broached though, it was cheaper to do it ourselves) and they did not have setscrews. I would assume that the broached ones would be the same.

To clarify:
Half inch keyed round and half inch hex versions of the wheels both come without set screws and without a place to put set screws. You can retain them with shaft collars, c clips, e clips, bolts/washers, cotter pins, expanding axle, bolts/washers into the axle, etc. Or just use a tapered, oversized key. I don't think that modifying them for set screws is a good solution. Getting some of the banebots hubs might give you additional options. |

Thanks, we ordered shaft collars to keep them in place.
