java.net.bindException

Hi everyone -

when I run a netbeans project, I am getting an exception in the build report:

java.net.BindException: address already in use

It then says build successful. The program does not seem to work though - it is just a SimpleRobot program with a System.out in the each of the subprograms - no messages make it back to the netConsole.

The netConsole does seem to be connected as when the reset button on the cRio is pressed, the output appears no problem.

Help!!! Please!

Re: java.net.bindException

NetConsole and NetBeans are trying to use the same port. You can't run them at the same time. When you run the program from Netbeans you will see the console output in the output window near the bottom of the screen.
