For your bumper questions:
There are no rules that mandate a single piece of fabric. I would highly recommend AGAINST using various shades of red or blue fabric on your bumpers. The rules suggest using colors of red and blue that match the FIRST logo and using various shades might give the impression you were attempting to make your bumpers "decorative". |

The reason we want to use led lights is because we are using super shifters and we want something to tell us if it is in high gear or low gear.

If you ask reeeeealy nicely your programming team should be able to incorporate some kind of indicator in your drivers' station. If you don't want to have to look at the drivers' station to know (and assuming you don't want to just see how fast the robot is moving by driving it) you could always put LEDs on the actual robot. ... just a few alternate suggestions

Our Main leader doubts that we are alowed to put LEDs on the robot.. We are allowed to put on LED's on our robot right?
