What does this error mean?

We are trying to read and I2C device and since it is one that doesn't have sample code we are trying to run the vi directly so we can see what the result is. We aren't getting any change at all. We used the light bulb mode to see what was being blocked. It stopped at open and we kept tunneling until we found the source.

Every time we try to run the program it stops at the Read and this error occurs, what should we do to try and fix it?

Error Code: -63195
Source: Read/Write Control in FPGA_DIOWriteI2CConfig.vi

Thank you,
Tlfritz

What VI are you running directly?

Go Help->Explain Error and put in your error code for a more detailed explination

Can you post a screenshot of your code (including all the important parts of your robot project)?

Re: What does this error mean?

We were trying a non-FIRST device and used the magnetometer example as a base to work from. We have gotten through the first hurdle by realizing there was an IP address mix-up. We have successfully deployed the code and had no problem executing the program but we ran into other issues.

If anyone has experience with Pololu Digital Gyros or IMU's then we could use some pointers. We are able to see the device over I2C and read registers unfortunately it doesn't look like we can successfully write to them. We need to be able to do that to configure the gyro.
