Re: Poly-cord Troubles

A couple things:
1. Do you have a picture or video and like the previous poster asked what behavior are you seeing?

2. Is it solid core fused together polycord or the hollow variety with barbs?

3. Is the pulley smaller than the suggested radius for the material, this is probably a yes but given our run times it usually isn't a huge issue.

Re: Poly-cord Troubles

To melt polycord ends while installed, we made a fixture to hold the cord while we melted the ends.

Basically, a piece of wood with 2 clamps on it. Clamp one end, pull real hard and clamp the other end, then join the ends. Urethane polycord does stretch a little bit...

Re: Poly-cord Troubles

It sure is a lot easier to make the belts before you try to put them on the machine. Weld the ends together, then install them.
