SmartDashboard not Receiving AxisCamera Feed

Hey all,

SmartDashboard has been being incredibly annoying lately. I recently figured out how to make a camera extension and am now trying to use it. However, ver since I created the extension and added it to the folder the SmartDashboard hasn't been displaying the camera feed from the regular camera or mine but when I connect through a browser it works fine. I looked around the internet and I saw many similar posts but I have already tried all the solutions provided (FRC password, correct ip, all the normal solutions). Sometimes even the connection indicator is stating the robot is off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Evan

Re: SmartDashboard not Receiving AxisCamera Feed

We had a similar problem and solved it by reinstalling the standalone SmartDashboard that we got from here. When loading up SmartDashboard from the command line, we were seeing an exception being reported that said something about not being able to find the camera extension.

If you do install the standalone SmartDashboard, don't forget to update your FRC DS Data Storage.ini file as described here so that it opens with your driver station
