Amazingly enough, we weighed in yesterday at 128.6 lbs, we thought for sure we we're gonna be over, we have a gearbox with 2 drill motors on it and a 100tooth steel gear, it alone weighs 22lbs

Weight???? what's that

Earlier in the build season we were looking at weight as a major issue because our wheels weighed 16 lbs all together, but we are skimming under the weight limit and no speed holes

um. I think we had antigravity last year. gonna have to figure out how we did it.
Seriously, the started at just under max the day of the competition, and as we added stuff we kept weighing it and every time the weight went down... Maybe the wires were rant in just the perfect way that the electromagnetic field created by them caused the scale to become semi-magnetic and repulse itself, thus causing the weight to seem less, and each time we added stuff the additional metal must of helped strengthen the magnetic field... or something like that.
