Even after the nubs are gone there is still a significant amount of tread before you hit plastic.
We had 973 run them at an offseason competition and practice and estimate around 2 regionals of use out of a set including some practice.
These were designed to be a more consistent grip level for the entire life of the wheel and last longer than the other 4" VersaWheels with W tread (depending how often you spin your wheels).
