Wait wait wait... you're using a 6-cim 2WD setup, geared relatively low, on a very light robot?

You're hilariously inside the 'traction limited' operational regime and I would wager a large sum of money that you're spinning wheels WAY more than you think you are.

You're robot is 50% of the weight of a fully-loaded FRC robot (in round numbers), and thus has less than 50% of the assumed weight (148lbs) on its driven wheels. With a 4-cim drive you're well within the 'safe' i.e. 'traction limited' case. With 6 cims you're just begging to spin and roast wheels.
