The next suspects are the electrical wiring or the pneumatic plumbing/pressure. The trouble will be downstream of the solenoid module. Next check would be if the indicator LED on the solenoid itself is lighting up when you press the buttons. Potential issues include:

Re: HELP!! Pneumatics Problems!
I checked the wiring. So on the module 9472, only lights 1 and 3 light up, but I have in Begin VI(picture on earlier reply) I have solenoid 1,2,3 and 4 called. When I connect the signal cables to the bumper and enable the robot the connection, only one side where the solenoid and the wire signal cables are connected light up. The other side of the solenoid where the signal cable is connected doesn't light up. Also only the cable connected to bumper relay 2 makes the connection light up. When I se all the other relays, the solenoid doesn't light up. Also I'm using the pneumatics bumper, instead of a solenoid breakout, is that the problem?

Re: HELP!! Pneumatics Problems!
I'm using a pnematic bumper instead because our solenoid is 24V and our solenoid breakout is only 6 to 20V, but the bumper LED does light up. And out power wired matches. The system is pressurized, and the ports should be correct.

Re: HELP!! Pneumatics Problems!
The way double solenoids work is that one side turns on while the other side simultaneously turns off with only one side of the solenoid should light up at a time.
So for a normal code response you should see the solenoid module LEDs for button 2 alternate lighting the 0 & 1 LEDs (the first and second LEDs). One is on while the other is off. So when you start you should probably see just the 1&3 LEDs light up, but when you press and continue to hold buttons 2&3, then you should see the 0&2 LEDs light up while 1&3 go off. I'm not sure what you are referring to with "pneumatic bumper" vs "solenoid bumper" unless you are just talking about different model years. The breakout you are using has 2-pin connections? |
