Approved Motors!?!?!

Any idea why FRC would give us multiple motors in our rookie kit that arent on the list of approved motors? Are we gonna be able to use these?

Huh, interesting on the CIM motors, I believe the Q&A would be the place to ask about those.

The am-0914 and am-2193 are the part numbers for the respective gearbox+motor combos. The motor used in both of those is the am-2161.

am-0914 and am-2193 gearmotors use the am-2161 motor which is listed in Table 4-1 in the Game Manual.

The am-0914 and am-2193 are also listed in the 2014 FRC approved motors spec sheet.
