Monnier Regulator
I'm mentoring a rookie team this year, and it's my first adventure into the world of pneumatics.
In FIRST Choice (of course we were late), we picked up the Monnier Regulator (http://firstchoicebyandymark.com/en/fc14-125). I can't seem to find the link, but somewhere there's a FIRST Pneumatic guide that has this as a "secondary" regulator. I can't seem to find any real discrepancies between the Monnier Regulator and the Norgen Regulator that would disallow it from being the "primary" (and only) regulator in our pneumatic system. Anyone have any insight? Last edited by popnbrown : 02-02-2014 at 23:47. Reason: fixed url |

Re: Monnier Regulator
Your link is invalid, but R82 should be what you're looking for, specifically the blue box.

Re: Monnier Regulator
They cleared this up in 2013; the Monnier in the KOP is an accepable primary regulator. For many years (until 2012) FIRST used to require a Norgren first before any other regulators, even though the Monnier was adequate alone and equivalently safe.

Re: Monnier Regulator
Sorry about the link, it had a parenthesis on the end that I accidentally included in the url. It's just a regulator and it regulates up-to 300 psi so it should be able to regulate 60psi.
The Monnier didn't come in the KOP but I assume it's the same one in FIRST Choice now. I think I'm pretty comfortable with using it now. |

Re: Monnier Regulator
I forgot it wasn't in the current KOP. Monnier 101-3002-1 is the same one that used to be provided.
