Epoxy Glue
Hi I am part of a have rookie FRC team that is wondering if we are eligible to use epoxy glue while building our robot. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Epoxy Glue
If you are glueing things like frame parts together then absolutely.
Don't glue electronic or pneumatic componets. |

Re: Epoxy Glue
Quoted for emphasis. Consider electronic and pneumatic components sacred.

Re: Epoxy Glue
Epoxy has totally replaced welding in our building process. We love it.

Re: Epoxy Glue
For the most part, if there isn't a rule against it, you can probably do it. Just exercise a bit of sense when using glue or other adhesives-- generally avoid them for things you're want to be reusing in future season (like electronics and pneumatics), and you should be good.
Epoxy is nice. Just make sure you apply it properly (namely follow any instructions applicable) and you should be good. |
