Electric solenoid programming and wiring help

So we have an electric solenoid that uses electro-magnetics to pull a pin. We are wondering if anyone knows how to wire and/or program one of them. We are programming in Java.

Thank you

Re: Electric solenoid programming and wiring help

You need to wire the solenoid to a spike relay. You plug the spike input into the relay output on the digital side car. The spike also gets wired to the PD board. You program the relay to turn on & off. The wplib has documentation for that.
