^^What Gary said. It is a function of the design of the worm gear system. (Yes, the window motor also has locking pins, and without them some window motors can be backdriven).
One year we put a Van Door motor on the same shaft as a Window motor. The window motor was essentially a brake, the Van Door motor was the muscle. We broke a window motor about twice per competition...but it was an easy replacement. |
