Did everyone out there realize the drastic date change? In prior years they were due after or very close to ship.

Where do you see that deadline? How can a team describe its game strategy and robot only a few days after kickoff?

In TIMS, the cutoff date appears as April 28, which means teams can update Judges Essay entries and robot photo until Champs.

UPDATE: I think you are referring to the Team Profile (full team name with sponsors) deadline, for publication in programs. This is not the same as the Judges Page (Team Essays).

I have posted this to FIRST Forums to see what FRC's response is, but per this email blast, we missed it. I am hoping they maybe realize that many teams were not aware of this change and give us a little grace period.

The information listed here will be put into a Team Yearbook for the Judges to review at your event(s). The Judges will be reading this information in order to get to know your team better! Judges’ information will be exported from TIMS on Thursday, 1/9/14.

we put ours in last night and there is no way to get the check in the status box. that makes me think you can add data, but the download for the judges is done. don't ask me how you could have uploaded a robot photo.
