Re: performance wheel tread keeps falling off
We could use rivets but we would like to be able to change tread. Thus, zip-ties.

Re: performance wheel tread keeps falling off
You can drill out rivets and replace them with the same sized ones. We used this method in 2008, 2010, and 2011 with much success

Re: performance wheel tread keeps falling off
Rivets. We also made a drilling jig to drill the treads ahead of time, so the rivet holes line up.

Re: performance wheel tread keeps falling off
You can also zip tie around the tread and the aluminuim wheel (so the zip ties run parallel to the wheels axis) in multiple places. Worked for us last year.

Re: performance wheel tread keeps falling off
Last year, we decided on a system where we use double sided sticky tape (the kind that has the red cover on it) to stick the tread to the wheel. Then we ziptied the tread down over the tape. We never had to retread all season (and off season).
