3d Printed Part for Power Cable on Dlink

Hi!
We've noticed in previous years that our robots, and other teams have had issues with the power cable on the D-link causing us to lose comms and disable us for the rest of the match.
Thus, we've innovated a 3d printed part to secure the power cable to the D-link.
If you have any interest email or pm me for the stl file.
Also if you would like it with some slight modifications contact me and I can help design the modifications if you would like.
Heres some pics of it:

Great Idea, files requested.

Perhaps CD could add a spot for uploaded cad and stl files in the media section.....

Re: 3d Printed Part for Power Cable on Dlink

The best way for all of us to share 3D printer designs would be to get them uploaded to thingiverse. Then it's easy to come on here and link to it so everyone can download

Nice design it looks a lot nicer than the goop we use.
I concur with Jon, upload to Thingiverse.

Since this will be the last year with the D-LINK this is OBE but I really wish they would have let us open up the Dlink and solder real power connections with Andersons to avoid this problem.

My only request would be if you could let me know that your team is interested so that I can make note of it. Thanks and hope it can help out your team and good luck this year.

Better yet, use Thingiverse "I made one" and put your robot / team number in the photo!

Thanks for sharing!

Re: 3d Printed Part for Power Cable on Dlink

It would be very GP of you to print a couple extra out to hand out to teams at competition that tend to have these issues more than others...

Also, do you have a way of locking it in Bridge mode for competition? #v2ideas

Re: 3d Printed Part for Power Cable on Dlink

Do you think it is possible for you/your team to make one for Ethernet cables? I'm pretty sure some teams would love that also!
