Very creative design, I'm looking forward to seeing it in person at Nashua.

Have you driven it on carpet? I feel like you might have some problems with the catapult dragging behind you. You might want to add something slippery to the bottom if you haven't already.

Our gym floor is a rubberized material and we've tried it on carpet, no problems so far

Not that i am saying your wrong, but clamping everything you drill on a drill press is not practical, especially when it is something very unlikely to be pulled out of your hands.
