Go to Post We have donut eating contests to see who has the best legs. We paint our pigs. We argue about which time zone we are in. About 400,000 of us gather together to watch cars go around in a circle. We also build robots.Yep, our cultural norm is a bit different. - Andy Baker [more]

My team tapes our bumper noodles AND we cable tie them, then we staple fabric. Our tape is double sided too so the fabric and noodles don't shift around or sag much.

As for 5196, you guys seem really well equipped with an array of tools for a rookie team, and I can see this team consistently building great machines in the next coming years.

check the Q and A please. make sure your ties and tape are not compressing the bumpers.

If you come to a FRC event to see a robot competition, you are missing the point.

We made bumpers without tape, don't worry. ^^ Those were just to see where to put the numbers on the fabric.
