Team 3937 Robot Reveal

Here is the release video for Team 3937, Breakaway, from Searcy, AR.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJi7qda5AIc

This is the finest robot that we have built to date. Clean, efficient, and repeatable. We will be competing at the Arkansas and Bayou Regionals.

More info will be coming out soon. Let me know if you have any questions, and I will be more than happy to help answer them.

We didn't have the weight this year. We had huge success with the independent swerve last year, however due to inadequate testing in the Fall, we were still worried about battery drainage and weight. Don't worry, the third iteration is sitting on the shelf right now. We plan on getting back to work in the Fall.

We went with a custom made, single speed, 8 wheel no drop drivetrain this year. We are very happy with it and look forward to actually finishing a match without losing our battery !

No Drop! We use 4" double omni wheels in the front and the back on each side. Turns like a charm. We did not want to rock back and forth this year. We have quite a large arm that articulates, so we wanted the stability that it gave us.
