Team 5254 robot reveal
Here is the robot build by team 5254, The Robot Raiders.
http://youtu.be/1WGLKbGz4Ng Features: 3 CIM VEX Pro Ball Shifter with speeds of 8 and 18 feet per second. 6 wheel drive using 4" traction wheels. Intake arm powered by a bag motor in a 10:1 VersaPlanetary and actuated by 2 10" pistons. We will be attending the Finger Lakes Regional. |

From a strategist point of view this is EXACTLY what I like to see from a rookie. A robot that has a well defined role and can execute it well. A strong drive train is hard to find in rookie robots, and you've given yourself a good base to start from in future years. You will be a zone 1 steal for anyone smart enough to pick you up.
