This. ^ The rules could have been much more clear for both offensive possession and defensive possession had they been separate, or one as a subset of the other.

I would like to add another situation to the op's list
A robot gets about a foot away from the wall. A human player lands the ball in this one foot gap. The ball is pinned momentarily as the robot drives forward forcing the ball back out to the human player. (all human player rules would need to apply) |

I think you're seriously misunderstanding the assist rules. When they say "unique", all they're saying is that each robot can only count in one zone.
