Forget cardboard sleds, we have polycarb

Seeing as how most of the Eastern Coast is covered in snow and ice and other nasty stuff, I thought I would share something our team discovered today:

Polycarb is one of the most amazing materials to go sledding on!!!! I'm sure it wouldn't work well on deep, wet snow, but for the hard, icy, slick stuff we have it works amazingly well!! I wish I had pictures to share, but alas we had no camera.

Now, before everyone runs out to try *especially you guys on the West Coast with balmy weather* DON'T use new or unused polycarb. Find some scraps or other used pieces to try. We used the top panel of our old crate....

Another note, as my team-mates *and I sometimes shudder to call them this * discovered, running and rolling down a hill in the snow with no shirt on does not feel good...
