Refs don't award assists, they credit possessions. So if Red1 passes to Red2 in the Red Zone, the ref will indicate a possession for both in Red. If Red2 drives into the White Zone, the ref will indicate a possession in White. Same thing with Red3 and the Blue Zone.
The computer then calculates the "best" configuration and awards the assist points if the ball is scored. |
