I made a version a few weeks ago.

Freshman:
Will you let me build the robot?
You can at least let me try
It might seem silly
But already three weeks have gone by-
I haven’t touched some metal
Or a CAD drawing
I’d like to, so tell me why.

Or maybe just learn how?
