Predict Week 2 Scores

Hey CD what do you think will be the average elimination and qualification match scores for week 2 districts/regionals??

If you can post details as to what you think week 2 will bring that would be great!

Re: Predict Week 2 Scores

Average total scores go down as G40 enforcements relax slightly.
Average scores without fouls included go up 10-12 points in quals, 15-17 in elims.
An alliance breaks 300, maybe even 315, probably first in GTR East or Crossroads.
Another unexpected issue comes up and we all get angry about it.

Re: Predict Week 2 Scores

Unless g40 changes they'll be almost exactly the same. If anything I'd bet on them being lower as teams learn how to play easy defense. In turn, with the increase in defense I'm being many more teams will dump in the 1 point goal to ensure that getting hit won't cause them to miss a shot.

Re: Predict Week 2 Scores

My guess is that the score will exceed 300, and it will be at Arkansas, because I am extremely bias. I think teams will have learned what strategies work, and realize sooner about G-40. There will be a lot less bounce outs fortunately. We will probably see several zone matches like the one that holds the current record, but with triple assists.

With the slight changes to G40, G28 and the goal, we should see less fouls and balls bouncing back. So score should be a little higher in qualification matches and about the same in elims. A lot of teams have seen how the game is being played now and probably will be changing strategies and coming up with new ones.

Game play should be a little different. Plus a lot of powerhouse teams are unbagging this week for the first time (16, 73, 234, 254, 330, 359, 604, 987, 1114, just to name a few ).

Re: Predict Week 2 Scores

The max score we will see will be 310.

The average score for all qualification and elimination matches this weekend will be up from 70.77 to 80-85.
