Banner sensors gone bad
Has anyone had the banner sensors go all crazy when they hit the wire mesh? Ours line followed perfectly(ish) unitl it hit the ramp, when it spazed out completely.
Thanks |

That would make sense, the mesh will reflect and trip the sensors. Try using the gyro to sense when it hits the ramp and switch off the sensors. (I would give you some sample code, but I am still working on it).

The title sounds like a bad Fox TV show... anyway...
Just to interject, you can use gyro's like scoot said, or you can do a deadrecog-ish thing that would shut off the line tracking after a while and gun it or it would shut off after it gets mixed readings and guns it straight. |

We had problems with this too. The main point that we found that it sees is the crosses. If you set the gains properly, then you won't have this problem.

we had this exact problem. We are using the gyros to do something like that anyways.
