While at the San Diego regional we were on the practice field making sure our 1 ball autonomous had it's HOT goal tracking correct. We were short on time and had planned to queue at the final call for our match. As I forced my team to pack everything up I looked over and noticed one of the teams on the enemy alliance sprawled out and seemingly unaware their next match was in 2 minutes. I ran over and informed them as quick as I could, and later made sure that they made it to the match.
Later I realized how 2nd hand doing that seemed to me, I didn't even think about doing it. I guess being in FIRST is getting to me.
Winning medals and awards, being on TV or in a magazine while cool doesn’t even begin to compare to the relationships I’ve developed working with a bunch of great students. - ebarker [more]
