Then, the Poofs picked you and you went on to beat us in the finals. Hey... there were dots there that, if one were angry and disappointed, one could put together.

There's an easy explanation here. 973 played us on Friday, when they were mostly nonfunctional and played you on Saturday when they had resolved the problem.
