As a matter of fact they pretty much did score double their opponents in one match where 766 was stuck on the field.
I realize what you are saying and I thank you for the high praise you have for both 971's and 1678's robot, but I feel that 766 needs to be given a bit of credit here. They fit our needs perfectly and ended up being a great choice for us. The scouting teams of 971 and 1678 did a great job figuring out what kind of robot we needed, and picking a robot that could help us with assists. They were excellent and inbounding, could play a little defense, and we would not have been able to complete 3 assist cycles without their help. We may have been successful without their help in one match, but other alliances would have clued in pretty quickly and we would not have put up as many points.

766 is a great team with great students, and it was a pleasure to work with them again. 971 won SVR and Calgames in 2012 with 766 and had great interactions with the team that year as well. With some modifications, they could do very well at SVR this year, and beyond.
