human player pads starting

does anyone know how far the human player pads are from the edge of the field. What I am really asking is when the human player period starts, where does the human player have to start when the human player period starts.

The pads are directly next to the door to the playing field. It's not infront of, but rather a left or right 90 degree turn to.

Also, the human players must start on the pads durring the human player session and must return in 10 seconds or thier bot will be disquailfied.

Acctually, if you dont return in 10sec, that persons teams robot doesnt get started for autonomus, but if they donnot return after 15, the robot doesnt start for the entire round, but if anyone wanted to know this, they can read the rules, which i hope they did

I am not quit sure how the hyper rule thing works, and i dont feel like going back, so i can quote it for ya

Quote:
7.2 Human Player Period (10 Seconds)
Any team (not
the alliance) whose human player is not off the playing field in 10 seconds will have their robots
disabled during the 15-second autonomous period. Any team (not the alliance) whose human player
is not off the field in 15 seconds will not be powered up and will not compete in that entire match.
Sounds pretty self expanitory to me

i appreciate your help...that means I gotta be a little faster than what I wanted to... and yes it is a no-start for autonomous. but if you aren't off the field by the autonmous period you are dq'd

So if your autonomous mode is 't3h sux'...you can just have your HP's stay on the field and guard the bins? Sounds dangerous...yet fun. (Heeey...get away from my bins you stupid bot! *kick* --bot senses retro-reflective tape on running sneakers-- THWACK THWACK *gaaaaaaaaaahhh*)

No, can't do that. They will not turn on the bots until all 4 people are on their pads.

haha i'd run out and hide inside a box... and move when the bots come towards me with the entire stack on top of me.... then a stacker picks me up and it also has a catapult function... ohhhh shhhhh*********** landing on wire mesh thrown by a bot would hurt like all heck
