FIRST Americorps VISTA Positions at NASA in WV
Position Description: https://my.americorps.gov/mp/listing...romSearch=true
Yes, there IS a NASA Facility in the Mountain State of West Virginia. We are the home of NASA's Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Program. On top of housing some of the best minds in the world in the field of IV&V, we have an active and progressive education and outreach team contracted through Fairmont State University which is also the FIRST Operational Partner for FLL in WV. I need your help to forward this message to anyone you think may be eligible or interested in working for FIRST at NASA for a year. This is a truly unique chance to spend 1 year giving back to your county by supporting FIRST robotics throughout West Virginia. The VISTAs are quite literally paid to play with LEGOs. . . and help start robotic teams at school or organizations, support and run tournaments, and conduct trainings on programming, CAD, and more. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
