I did 14 last year, missed 3 of the ones I normally volunteer for due to being out of the country for 2.5 months of the year.

I expect to hit closer to 18 this year, with 6 weeks in a row of FRC events helping to establish a strong pace.

I'll still end up behind Ed somehow though

Re: 6 Regional Season?

If a team were to pack up everything and get on a plane saturday night, they might just make it in time to compete at Israel the next day.

Combine that with state championships and the World Championship and that could be 9 official FRC events in 1 season.

I thought there would be 5 or more non-FRC events in there. Padding numbers using FLL is the only way I'd get that high. I'm thoroughly impressed with your total!

Re: 6 Regional Season?

With the number of offseason events,

I think all FRC teams should at least do 4 Events.

2 Regional/District Events
2 Offseason FRC events

1 Event per season is not suitable to be competitive in FRC anymore.

I almost ended up @ Las Vegas a couple of years ago but no one responded to my inquiries about my assignment so I switched out for Queen City.

There was a weekend in NE with two district events. One was Thurs-Fri, the other was Sat-Sun.

Theoretically, a team in NE could do
Granite State/Israel
UNH/Groton
WPI
Southington
Northeastern
Pine Tree
NECMP
CMP
For a grand total of 10 official events in one FRC season.
I believe there's also a weekend in MAR like that (but I'm not sure)
If you start counting off-seasons it looks like one could feasibly add another 19 events to their schedule (according to TBA's data from last years off-season events) Plus a week zero event!

In theory, one could do 30 competitions in one year. Clearly Ed and Andrew are slacking off!

There are some events that I have written off.
I would like to do an actual week zero one day.

Eh, I was only counting on season events. I figure showing up at 7 events ( plus a week zero) is enough for one season...The more horrifying one is that, excepting Granite State, 125 is COMPETING at all of these (CMP is still only a possibility)

Granite State
Groton
Rhode Island
Northeastern
Pine Tree
NECMP
CMP

We'll see about hitting the off season circuit. I'll, obviously, be at Beantown. Might hit Battlecry and a few others depending on what 125 is doing. I'm ok taking second place to Ed though.

Is 125 even going to have a robot after 6 events or is it just going to be a battle-scarred brick of metal?

I don't know how you guys are doing it and still alive. I was still recovering from San Antonio when we were in Richmond.
