Well, yea. FIRST doesn't give you access to the fully delimited eliminations data, except by foul, auton and (teleop + t&c + assist).
If you wanted to total assist points, you
should be able to add up all assist points and divide by three, if you want a world average or a by-event average. Divide by the number of matches overall or at the event, and you have your average points per match.
The data in the second post is on a per-team basis.
