Go to Post I told people that I was a summit for world leaders for our regional. We had two that are current world leaders and over 1000 that will be ones in 2029. - Foster [more]

Re: 2014 Bedford District

Only 19 of 40 teams competing are eligible for points, and there are 9 out of the 42 teams projected to qualify (80 pts.) doing their third event. Should be an interesting event!

Re: 2014 Bedford District

Abolish 3rd event participation! Or teams that want to participate in 3rd event should get all 3 events randomly picked for them, without their choice. Random chaos would be fun!

Why? So events can have only 20-30 teams?

With the current lottery system it is fairly random. But because the points count for your first two events in chronological order, it would make sense that week 6 events will have a lot of teams that are competing at their third event.

Also, points are given for what a team does not based on the other teams at the event. Every event should be viewed as a week 1 event, where everyone is competing for points.

Re: 2014 Bedford District

On behalf on team 240, I'd like to thank everyone at Bedford for being great competitors, allies, and inspiration this year. A very special thank you to teams 1023 and 862, who gave us the opportunity to earn our second blue banner Although we didn't qualify for states, we wish everyone going the best of luck.
